Hallo,

For almost a year I have not been able to make a knife, no workshop in my new hometown up till last week. I made a knife i March 2012 and the enclosed one is the second one since september 2011. I am a little bit rusty but annyhow here it comes.

The blade is carbon steel by Tor Wahlstedt, polished forge finish and filework.
The Handle is Satin Wood (yellow) and Spalted (Gestochte) Tamarind.

Thanks for looking
and
Best Regards

Hello PO,

thanks for sharing your first knife after your pretty long break.

Your rusty feeling has not been transferred to your knife, as far as I can see :D - beautiful shape of the handle and the satin wood looks amazing.

I like the wood structure and the way it re-appears in one flow left and right of the tamarind :super:

Looking forward to seeing more of your work, now, that you seem to have again a workshop.

Best regards

Virgil

Thanks Virgil and Manni,

I am glad that you like my knife. Satin Wood is an fantastic wood that I have used for the firt time, the same with Spalted Tamarind.

My very best regards

Hello PO,

i like your knife and the shape very much.
Especially the handle that follows the line of the blade.
This looks very harmonic.

Please keep on showing nordic knifes in here.
There are so many tactical knifes in here and too less basic and classical knifes.
They have their own beauty!

best regards,

Thanks Jan,

There will be some more and it has allways been a pleasure to show the knives on Messerforum.

All the best
PO
