I am going to show my last engraving. Some photos that they will show will be a part of the process of work. The knife comes from a Spanish manufacturer ( Eladio Muela );

I have carved the hilt and have sold off the knife's engraving.
It has been sent to the inheritor of The Real Spanish House and a simple knife is used to be.
With engravings to strong water of traditional form ( century XIX ).

In my engravings I do not use the transference of the design, because harms me to the hour to draw with ink. In this case, I have attempted transferring the contour of the coat of arms, but next I had some difficulties to draw.
I hope that he be the liking of the future king.

Amigos del foro
Voy a mostrar mi último grabado . Serán algunas fotos que mostrarán una parte del proceso del trabajo . El cuchillo es de un fabricante español ( Eladio Muela ) ; yo he tallado la empuñadura y he realizado el grabado del cuchillo .
Ha sido enviado al heredero de La Casa Real Española y es un cuchillo sencillo para ser utilizado . Con grabados al " agua fuerte " de forma tradicional ( siglo XIX ) .
En mis grabados no empleo la transferencia del diseño , pues me perjudica a la hora de dibujar con la tinta . En este caso, he intentado transferir el contorno del escudo de armas ,pero luego tuve algunas dificultades para dibujar .
Espero que sea del agrado del futuro rey .

Thats quite interesting Antonio - you mask your theme/subject the old-fashioned way completely manual without a template ? That's really amazing.
What type of ink and acid do you use for it ?

I am Master engraver to strong water with a technique transmitted of the century XIX for my father and improved by me, of autodidactic manner.
I do not use templates or measure you of transference mechanical or chemical. As it is appreciated in the process, it is drawn by hand and craftly.
As of the present moment there are few engravers that they drive the strong water of this traditional manner.

I use especial ink for engraving to the acid and several acids that are used for this technique exist also ( nitric, caustic holandés.etc ... )
