JW Made in Germany JMP [Hersteller gesucht]

Here is an older 7.5 cm double folder with scale release - push down the end of the scale and the blade opens up automatically. It has an advertisement for a Swedish bicycle company (1900 - 1979). Stamped 'JW' Patent 152619 (?) on one blade, and "Made in Germany" and "JMP" on the other blade.

I found this information but I'm not sure if this is the maker of the knife:

Edmund Jansen & Weck, Hohscheid-Solingen. Registry
class: 9b. Style: roman. Note: ‘J’ joins the top of the leftward central bar of ‘W’, which takes the form of two letters ‘V’
overlapped.

Any ideas who made the knife? And when?

Edmund Jansen and August Weck ran in partnership a cutlery company in Hoehscheid, which is part of Solingen since 1929.
Both claimed several German, British and U.S. patents in the 1890s and early 1900s.

The patent right for your scale release knife was granded by the German Emperial Patent Office in 1904.

Both claimed several German, British and U.S. patents in the 1890s and early 1900s.

The patent right for your scale release knife was granded by the German Emperial Patent Office in 1904.

Not by mind - right now I am off for a business trip. Please allow me to research in depth while having returned.
Please link another photo with opened blade in 90° position, illustrating the "JMP" tang stamp in detail.

By chance I have access to part of my records showing up this pre 1900 advertisement of Edmund Jansen & Co., while not acting in partnership with August Weck.
