Knives in movies

Sehr interessante Berichte über diese Messer.
Und sie wurden ja auch wirklich benutzt - naja, das Puma mal außen vorgelassen.
Das einzige Filmmesser, welches ich richtig wahrgenommen hab, war das im ersten Rambofil,
Ich glaub nicht, daß das wirklich zu irgendwas richtig zu gebrauchen war ;).
Da gabs mal so ne Gesichten mit dem Nehberg. Der sollte so ein Messer von einem spanischen Hersteller begutachten.
Hat er dann auch getan aus seiner Sicht - kam nicht gut an, er sollte nur schreiben, daß das ein ganz tolles Mehrzweckkampfmesser ist :cool::.

So, genug gesabbelt von mir - ich hoffe auf weiter interessante Geschichten!

I just recently watched a movie in which a knife I own plays a prominent role. However, it is a kitchen knife. Can I still share it here?
 
In Alex Garland's surreal horror drama "Men" (2022), a knife from the Spanish brand Pallares Solsona plays an important role. It is shown very noticeably early on, making it a great example of a Chekhov’s gun.
I’m not going to post frames from the film’s climax, when the knife is actually used, because it is is quite graphic.
It was likely a creative choice by the director and/or the props department to use this (somewhat) obscure knife. Aesthetically, it distinguishes itself from the more "brutal"-looking classic european profiles often used in horror/slasher films such the Halloween franchise.

Great little knife btw, It needs a bit of thinning when out of the box, but it is cheap and very fun to use.

Sorry guys, I deleted pics from Movies, because they may bring problems to the forum owner. Please note for further postings: You can name the movie, tell which minute a knife appears, but post only pictures of which you own the copyright!
