More or less a traditional Scandi knife.

Blade: Thre layer (laminated) forged by the Norwegian blacksmith Grantangen. The blade is 4 mm at the spine and tapered towards the point.

Handle: Barrelshaped handle from a pice of patternd (curly) Birch from my Wood Shed.

That i More traditional.

Less traditional is that the Birch is stabilized and the front pice of Musk Ox.

Thanks for looking
and
all the best

Thanks for showing, Per Olof ;)

Again an outstanding handle material - even if you categorize it as "less traditional", it's really looking amazing.

I suppose you see the 3D effect even better "live"?

And the musk ox front piece gives an interesting touch with it's similar structure turned by 90 degrees - smart move :super:

All the best to you, too.

Thanks for those kind words.

Glad that you noticed the difference in direction of the pattern (stripes) between the front pice and the rest of the handle.

The 3D effect is in reality even better than on the new picture.

Best regards
