My first axe

Hello guys!
Stainless steel 420 HC, total lenght is 325mm (about 13") it weighs around 900gr.; convex blade 72mm (about 3") wide, 140mm (about 5,5") longe, 14mm thick, with back hammer; handle is s.s. 440C and leather. Fitting are stainless steel and pommel is 420HC. 4mm Leather sheath.

I like the shape and, off course, the leather handle
(The weldings at the head are too rough for me.)

Seems to be unbreakable; is it for someone who work with it?

did you anneal the head differentially? To which HRC did you temper it?

Thank you very much Thorsten! Yes, the head is about 55-56 Hrc and the handle 57-58, but I have stempered the welding zones and the final zone of the pommel so the handle of the axe can bend but not to break, cordially, Stefano
