Los Pantanos de Villa son hábitat para 150 especies de aves entre ellas el zambullidor, el pato colorado, el yanavico, la parihuana y la GARZA BLANCA considerada como la reina de los pantanos por su belleza y vuelo cadencioso. En esta área natural viven 13 especies de peces como el gupis y la tilapia, también roedores, murciélagos, reptiles y 40 clases de insectos
