SPYDERCO'S PINK KNIVES
Update
As we prepare to turn another page on the calendar, we’d like to remind you that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2020 there were 2.3 million women diagnosed with breast cancer and 685,000 deaths from the disease worldwide. At the close of 2020, there were 7.8 million women alive who had been diagnosed with breast cancer within the past 5 years, making it the world’s most prevalent cancer.
For many years, Spyderco has supported charities devoted to the prevention, research, and treatment of this devastating disease. To that end, we have produced a number of our folding knife models with vibrant pink handles and donated a portion of all sales of these knives to worthy charitable organizations. Currently, the sales of our pink-handled knives support Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national nonprofit organization that seeks to create a world that understands there is more than one way to have breast cancer. To fulfill its mission of providing trusted information and a community of support to those impacted by the disease, Living Beyond Breast Cancer offers in-person experiences and on-demand emotional, practical and evidence-based content.
