Aloha ALL,

I know I saw it done somewhere, I just don't remember where...:hmpf:

BUT, has anyone removed the thumbstuds on their Trance, and if so, how do they come off?

God bless and mahalo for your time!

Do you remember the pic of the modified Trance you got from me? - the one with the removed flipper and the "drilled through" thumbstud...

Well, it is quite easy to remove the thumbstuds, they are just screwed together - perhaps it not so easy without scratching the surface...

Aloha stubenhocker,

Sorry...but not really.:(

However, can one remove the studs then, with two pliers? Scratching the blade is not too much of an issue...:argw:

God bless and can you post a "reminder picture"?:hehe:

Mahalo Morales!

Great seeing you...but uh...I cannot make head or tail out of what was being said!

The Trance pics looks like the stud was "sheered"?

God bless and thanks!

Sorry Chad, my bad! He removed the pin and riveted a piece of steel to the blade.

I hope this helps, take care,
Carsten

Yes, it is (easy)! With two pliers or one plier and a bench vise.

:super:!!!

Vielen Dank!!! I remember now stubenhocker! However...

Does anyone have a pic with the studs removed completely?:glgl:

God bless and mahalo!

You have to turn against clockwise to loosen them - but be sure you get the "male" one - it's much easier then.

It is no problem to put the studs back - but they will be scratched, because at least mine were to tight to get them off with a piece of rubber between the pliers.
