Ibach-Schwyz, 3. Juni 2013: Traurig, aber dankbar nehmen wir Abschied von Carl Elsener, Seniorchef der Victorinox AG. Er ist am vergangenen Samstag im Alter von 90 Jahren verstorben. Während über 70 Jahren hat er seine ganze Kraft für das Unternehmen, die Mitarbeitenden und das legendäre „Swiss Army Knife“ eingesetzt. Das kleine rote Messer aus Ibach steht heute rund um den Erdball für Schweizer Qualität und Zuverlässigkeit. 1922 wird Carl Elsener in Ibach geboren. Schon früh setzt er seine Schaffenskraft für die Messerfabrik ein. 1950 nach dem Tod seines Vaters übernimmt er die Firmenleitung. Neue Medford Modelle zur Blade Show: Medford Knives bringt zur Blade Show eine ganze Reihe neuer Modelle auf den Markt. Es existieren nur einige wenige Prototypen der neuen Stücke. Auf der Blade Show wird Medford erfahrungsgemäß mit Aufträgen vollgepackt werden. Aktuell ist die voraussichtliche Lieferzeit auf die bestehenden Modelle ca. 4 Monate.
