Hi everyone,

A new and pretty different to my other knives that I have been working.
The Cathal design is now finish and I am impressed with the N690 stainless "Polished Micro Convex Edge", extremely sharp. That is a sharp knife.

I really enjoy the design of this knife. To give you a hint how much your pics/knife creation has taken a shine to me – I consider, after more than twenty folders in a row, if my next new knife would be a fixed!

Regarding the Kershaw Junkyard Dog : The only analogy I see is the intention to combine a sheepfoot blade style with a pointy tip, which is in my opinion not so extraordinary that you can call it a design specific, and, apart from that, I doubt that the idea is original by Tim Gaylean.

Regarding Cathal: Martial yes, but I nevertheless like it, cool-sounding word in my ears!

I think today it's impossible to do something 100% new, you can improve things, you will always find something similar, the blade will be similar to other blades the handle as well, nothing new, just a different way to merge good features.
