(photo gallery) A new and pretty different to my other knives

Hi everyone,

A new and pretty different to my other knives that I have been working.
The Cathal design is now finish and I am impressed with the N690 stainless "Polished Micro Convex Edge", extremely sharp. That is a sharp knife.

I really enjoy the design of this knife. To give you a hint how much your pics/knife creation has taken a shine to me – I consider, after more than twenty folders in a row, if my next new knife would be a fixed!

Regarding the Kershaw Junkyard Dog : The only analogy I see is the intention to combine a sheepfoot blade style with a pointy tip, which is in my opinion not so extraordinary that you can call it a design specific, and, apart from that, I doubt that the idea is original by Tim Gaylean.

Regarding Cathal: Martial yes, but I nevertheless like it, cool-sounding word in my ears!

Attractive looking knife, thanks for showing!

Peter

I think today it's impossible to do something 100% new, you can improve things, you will always find something similar, the blade will be similar to other blades the handle as well, nothing new, just a different way to merge good features. :)

Thank you for the comments.

Hello everyone,

Cold flames pattern.
The etched is not like a paint, is a deep engraving, will never come out.

Cool design!

The flames are awesome, but I also like the little "sun" very much.

The handle form rules!

Thanks for showing.

Looks pretty cool!
Could you picture raising the Grind, thus making the Mirror of the Blade a bit smaller? Seems that huge...
Nevertheless, impressive!

Outstanding work - pretty awesome! :super:
Thanks for showing us this beauty and I wish you a happy new year!

For those who like big knives here are some new photos. I hope you enjoy.

This knife is a mix of the ancient Ibero style "falcata sword" with a modern tactical look, complemented with a luxurious leather sheath.

This one is definitely my favorite! Only big knives are good knives. :D

I really like every tiny detail about it.

How is the dot in the blade made? Glow-Powder? German Silver?
