A twisted pair.

I worked on these knives at the same time. The blades were forged and ground and then the materials were chosen for the handles. One is made with stag the other is dyed box elder burl.
The twist blades took a nice edge.

They are just over eight inches long.

Twist is my favorite damascus pattern. Combined with the box elder and the overall handle design that knife really looks great!

Stabilized, dyed black, box elder has an almost marble look to it when finished.
Double dyed can add eye appeal also. My favorite is black and gold.
