Good evening, gentlemen.
I bought a small, high-quality knife with black horn scales and mother-of-pearl tones. It's quite well made, with brass interiors. I don't know the hallmark. The John Walter reference book says it could be made by Eduard Wille, Edmund Jansen & Weck, or Wilhelm Busch. But I don't think so. Any thoughts on this? Have a nice weekend, everyone.

Dear Arie,
E. W. is early hallmark of Emil Weck better known as "Protea" brand.
It is a fact that several cutlers have been using a monogram of their prename and family name for markig knives instead of a brandname of trademark.
Several Solingen cutlers are known with matching „E.W“ monogram.
What fact does lead you to „Emil Weck“?
