Im Englisch dieses mal:

This is my latest creation. The steel is 1.2842 (O2) selectively hardened. The guard and the liner of the coffin handle are made from the same steel. Woods are Palissander and ebony. The mosaic pin has two different ends. One has a "H" (last name of the new owner starts with a H) the other side has two brass knobs.

It took some time and playing with different materials to get the balans right. Now it balances right in front of the guard.

The blade has a handrubbed finish (1000 grit) and some filework on the back.

WOW, this is a bowie!

My first thought was "Bagwell", (and this is a compliment!),
i like the long clip, is it sharpened?

Is it a full tang grip?

How long is it?

What sheath does it get?

Danke fur ihre beitragen.

Die Bowie ist auf Bagwell's Bowies inspiriert, aber ik denke dass mein Messer etwas dunner ist (5mm am rucke).

Die clip ist nicht gescharfed, weil ich nicht sicher bin ob dass gegen ein Gesetz eintretet.

Das Messer ist 41 cm lang und die griff 13 cm. Es gibt kein scheide dazu weil der eigner ein Holzer Büchse wunschte.


Der Griff ist kein full tang weil das nicht moglich ist. Der Griffende ist breiter als der ricasso. Der offnung der parierelement, passt dan nicht uber tang. Ich habe ein U profiel gemacht in der form der griff. Darauf die schalen bevestigt.
