Finally finished the feather fighter I've been working on.

Building this knife stretched out to six months but it finally came together.

The knife is 12 inches tip to butt. Walnut and dyed box elder for the handle. N/S accents with wrought iron butt cap and guard.

The gentleman that ordered the knife wanted it to cut on both the upward and downward motions of the blade. The edges both top and bottom turned out scary sharp. I will put nylon rubs on both sides of the sheath to keep from cutting through the leather.

I like it. Do you have a pic from the back

Would that be looking from the butt end down along the spine of the blade towards the tip. Did you want to see the distal taper of the blade?

Thank you. I cherish the feather pattern blades, myself somewhat, because getting one completed with out a screw up is an accomplishment in itself.
