"Finger" choils

What would be the maximum blade length (on a locking folder) you would consider a choil an advantage.

At the moment the Mini Manix is here at me for pass around and i´m fine with the blade, just 8 cm, i don´t need more. The first knife with choils i consider to be more comfort than uncomfort. I really enjoy the difference to my personal preference.

Yes, if i could change something i would reduce the tang between the short grip and large grip choil. It extends so much. A bit shorter might offer a handle with more flexibility. I would conssider the large choil to get a larger bow. My finger is more pressed forward without being more secured.

But overall nice thing. Even with choils .

Half the short choil is in the handle. Good ratio IMHO.

The best thing on the short girp choil is: I don´t need it, it doesn´t disturb. Best thing is, you don´t notice it.

(But the blade has terrible play, guess you have heard about this )
