Hello friends
After a long absence I am back with you. I could not resist and bought two farmers knives under the Stern brand from FW Backhaus. I will be glad if you help me to gather more information about them. Apparently they are made of carbon steel, as there is no rostfrei stamp anywhere. The scales of the small knife seem to be made of black horn, but I am not sure. The material of the scales of the large knife is unknown to me. Also on it is installed the coat of arms of the city of Daugavpils which is located in Latvia. Until 1920 this city was called Dvinsk, and until 1893 it had the German name Dunaburg. Your opinions and comments are always welcome. Enjoy
By the way, thanks again to our knife experts Kaiman and Abu for helping to identify the stamp.
