Here's one I bought a couple years ago from a seller in Europe and I don't know anything about it. There is no manufacturer stamp, or markings of any kind. If anyone has information please feel free to post it, or email me.

These three are very old and made in the US by the Eagle Pencil Co. They were used to sharpen pencils.

These knives are all Italian made. The top knife is a gravity, and the next three are trapdoor OTF's.

Hello Autoknife!

Great collection auf autos and otf's! Do they all belong to you?

A few years ago I did posses a knife like the "Anton Wingen" DA OTF. But it did not work, there was something damaged.

This is so evil. You show us all your beautiful OTF´s and all these beautiful knives, the german users must´n own. You just make us jealous. Nevertheless, that is a really nice collection.

MfG, Lukas

The "Panzermesser" is a double action out the front. When the button on the side is pushed forward the blade comes out of the handle and locks open. When the button is then pulled to the rear the blade retracts back into the handle. There is also a metal handled version of this knife that I don't have at this time.

Thanks for the compliments. I must ask, how would anyone know if you owned these in your collection? In 1958 a law was passed in the United States which made it illegal to ship these knives over state lines, which basically stopped the manufacture of this type of knife. In my state you are not allowed to manufacture, or sell anything that is considered a switchblade knife. There is no specific law that says you can't carry one, but there are laws against carrying a concealed weapon and if the police wanted to give you a hard time you could probably be charged. With that said I am almost 42 years old and have never been pulled over by the police and searched. I don't carry an automatic knife (Spyderco Endura), but I do have a permit and carry a semi automatic pistol (Glock model 30 .45).
I'm happy to own them and since most of my 400+ automatics in my collection are older, vintage pieces I don't worry about being able to carry them.
