Don't worry about the written spelling - the sense has more importance than the letters...
I also prefer the safety sling right above the guard - so You can already hold the handle while opening the safety (and You can carry it tipup).
I like tipup-carrying also when I do my service in civil clohthes: You can carry also a bigger fixed blade knife concealed at the belt when You carry it tipup. You can wear vests or short jackets and carry a knife with a normal-long blade completely concealed.
You can pull the knife rather unseen and in tight environment.
In addition, I DO wear a pistol while doing my job, but a knife is not only a substitute but a very senseful complement to a handgun, isn't it??

here is another model of the military daggers, the serrations on the knives are cut by hand, hence they are blackened, as it is to hard to cut them after the blade is coated,,
the blade is flat ground, not like the stalker,
the groove in the balde is deep and quite wide, .. the blade is about 5mm thick,
same grip as stalker,
it is of the french z60 steel,
sheaths for these are plastic of leather.
if you would like i could find some pictures of the specialy made sheaths, , id hope jenni gets some of the knvies with them
but we'll see..
i think upside down carry is handy at times, for hunting or so, i dont think, .. other than maybe a small knife taped on ones pack strap.. although the fear of it being lost worries me alittle
with upside down carry of large knives for combat situations like police or such i think there is a good deal of use for a larger knife, as it has some uses a gun dosnt do well at,
i would reccomend a kydex sheath, or better a leather sheath with a kydex retainer at the mouth,, also reinforced tip on the sheath would be nice, as if you fall it wont cut through the tip which could happen

Guten Abend,
hab meine Nadel heute erhalten,
danke an Jenni für die extrem schnelle Lieferung!
Meine Klinge an der Basis: 4,4mm
Schönes Teilchen, gleich mal ausprobiert.
Die Gurke war erst etwas schwierg, weil zu dick, aber dann gings aufs Feinste.
Tomate war schon sehr weich, das Endstück hab ich mit der Hand beim halten zerdrückt; da kanns Messer nix für.
Weißbrot ziehend geschnitten...
Mahlzeit!
(Die Familie wollte aber den Korken und die abrasierten Unterarmhaare nicht wirklich dazu haben...nun ja,..
)
Die Lederwicklung hat was, schön gemacht, griffig, nur weiß ich noch nicht, ob mir das gezupfl da dran gefällt oder mich eher stört.
Aber das krieg ich auch noch raus.
Scheide ist schlicht gehalten aber gut.
Die klemmt das Messerchen so, das die einhändigen Ziehversuche noch scheitern.
Das spielt sich noch ein.
Sorry für die Bilder; wir haben heute Weltuntergang (kein anständiges Licht), und es gibt einfach Tage...

Lederwicklung hat sich mittlerweile etwas gelockert, ist aber noch ok.
Das gezupfl bleibt! Macht Laune und ist ne nette spielerei.
Scheide ist immer noch ok, das Messer wird sicher gehalten, hat sich aber wie vermutet soweit eingespielt, das es gut gezogen werden kann.
Ich wollte nur eine andere Trageweise haben:
IWB-Loop von Kanji; Aufwand 5 Minuten.
Allerdings mußte dafür die org. Lasche entfernt werden.
Das Teilchen wird ordentlich hergenommen, wie man vermutlich sieht...

Vielen Dank für deine Bilder. Interessante Idee mit der Modifikation. Bist du Rechts- oder Linkshänder?
Finde die mitgelieferte Scheide sehr gut, nur hängt mir das Messer so etwas zu tief.

es hat sehr sehr lange gedauert und natürlich hat sich auch wieder etwas geändert aber nun sind sie endlich eingetroffen.
Leider gibt es nur wieder viel zuwenig davon.
Wir habenmittlerweile nur noch 1 Igla X12 MF in Camouflage und 4 Igla X12MF in black.
Die Klingenstärke ist hier 3,5 mm, minimale Abweichungen sind möglich, da der X12MF aus Rundmaterial von Hand ausgeschmiedet wird. Gesamtlänge ist 18,2 cm und die Schneidenlänge 8,3 cm. Preis 89,- Euro
und in der Scheide:
Die Igla stehen falls noch verfügbar ab kommender Woche in unserem Shop.
