Yes, only oil.
For W1 and s145 I put 3 second in water then immediately in oil

Why do you do the different treatment?
(I did a hamon with 1.2442 with 3 seconds in water an than oil and it worked great without problems.)

Water is always dangerous for cracking.
For 1.2442 Achim told me is possible quench in oil without water
