Hello Gentlemen
I’m pleased to introduce you a gem from Sheffield, H. G. Long & Co (Henry Godfrey Long). Very British and very old school knife. Which is at least 100 years old, if you believe the information about Sheffield knifemakers. The knife is in perfect condition both externally and internally. The spring works perfectly to open and close, producing beautiful clicks. Once again I will express my annoyance at the decline of Sheffield and with it the whole Great British knife culture. But fortunately we have Solingen and Thiers. German and French cousins did not let their British brothers' models die. For example, Otter produces this model of knife under the name "Ankermesser". Also it is produced by FONTENILLE PATAUD under the name London and several other French manufacturers under the name "Anchor". By the way, our friend Rudi recently ordered it and we are all looking forward to him sharing it with us. Enjoy
