Aloha ALL!

I have a drawing of a short bladed version of my Trance that I wanted to become a reality because I had that design since the mid 90's or so. :hehe: Not sure if Boker will make it, so I decided to totally destroy one of my Trance Drop Points and made my own to see how "sound" my design *would* be...

I been carrying it, I call it the "WHART" for over a week, maybe two...and it is AWESOME!!! The blade shape on the drawing of my WHART is different, but I tried to get it as close as I could. In "reality", it would look more like my WHARCOM blade. Sharpening is a breeze, and it is VERY people friendly. For my bro's in Germany, studs removable, and no ala Carson Flipper.:argw:

I figure it would be good for my Euro friends who have severe blade length laws...so this would enable them to be compliant BUT with a handle that allows a lot of leverage.:super:

Here are some pics...be nice okay??? :p

Aloha Chad,
what have you done..?! Grinding the tip off from my Trance would keep me in a depressive state the whole day.:D Ok, let's be serious: I like the looks of the WHART but I doubt that it might become reality soon. The focus on banning knives has shifted more towards the locking mechanism and the one-hand operating, so blade length here in Germany isn't an issue after all.
This being said, noone knows what the future holds and I'm not familiar with all knife laws in Europe, so the WHART could be quite useful. Thanks for posting pics of this Trance variant, it's always exciting to see something new from you. :super:

Take care and God bless,
Carsten

Aloha Carsten,

Hmmmmm, try two hand opening a 4" knife in public and then try the WHART.:hehe: BTW, I hear what you are saying regarding this idea, but I think it WILL work well...

Remember the Spyderco Dodo?:super:

Thanks for checking this out, and have a great day!
God bless and be safe,

Aloha Chad!

I simply like the blade shape and the blade/handle ratio!
