Und hier die Reaktion von Running Dog (Michael Murphy) auf meinen obigen Beitrag, die ich seiner Bitte entsprechend gern veröffentliche:
Hello,
I heard you folks were talking about us...
I wanted to say I'm sorry about you being unhappy with your "Gambler" and
it's Concealex system sheath...
It was not our best work and I apologise but we have come far since
then...Our knives are better, our grinds more consistant and the geometry
much improved...
The new "Maverick" for example has a steeper flat grind and a thinner
edge...And we now have a standardized edge on our knives as well...
Just recently we have made changes to improve the cutting performance of
our knives and the function of our sheaths...We also now are doing forged
knives and bowies...
We are now only going on two years in production...Over 700 knives...Not
too bad for two guys and a dog in a garage...
You may very well own the worst Running Dog knife in the world, something
I'm not proud of...I hope you have still be able to get some use out of it,
you told me you were able to put a new edge on it, not a total loss I hope
If you would please post this message in your forum...I invite anyone to
email me with question about our work and the performance of our
asysmetrical grind and Concealex system sheaths...
My best regards,
Michael
