Ich wurde heute mit folgendem e-mail angeschrieben:
-----------------
As you obviously can make quality knives, I would like to see if you can identify the knife in the attachments I have sent with this letter.
I feel it is of German origin. If not German, then, maybe close by.
The little flip handle on the side is the locking\release mechanism, flip it upward and hold pressure and sling the blade out of the handle. The pick is swing out traditional. It is 14 inches long with both opened. About 6 inches long with both closed. The other attachment is an artist sketch of the logo on the blade. The King is sitting on the letters
SMF and holding a sword in an upward position with the words: SOLINGEN ROSTFREI under the logo. The other markings are under the little locking\realease handle and they are: a number 2 stenciled on the bottom and the number 90 stenciled on the bottom as well.
I am seeking to know it's origin, date of mfg, and possible value as an antique, [if any].
Thanks for any help you may be able to give in this matter, and keep up the good work. I envy you and your ability to make such beautiful knives. My e-mail address: kajuniter@netzero.net Lanis Johnson

Kennt Jemand dieses Messer, Hersteller ist offensichtlich:
SMF
Solinger Metallwaffenfabrik
Stoecker & Co.
und kann etwas zu den gewünschten Angaben sagen?
