I'm afraid I don't speak german but since this is the biggest knife forum in europe I registered to ask this question here.

I was given 2 victorinox 'officier suisse' swiss army knifes and they are both from the 1980's.

They have a different logo and they look like spartans (have the same tools) but are not spartans.

One is brand new never been used and it has a laser engraving on the blade "Coutellarie du mont blanc, geneve".

the other one is used...

Hi there.

According to the manufacturer's marks on the blades both are original Victorinox SAK's, but with modified scales and one with a shops etching on the main blade. Despite the modifications, they are Spartans.

Victorinox and Wenger both did and still do offer special versions for other companies' promotional purposes. In this case, it seems to be a cutlery shop in Geneve (CH).

Their value? No idea. Maybe someone else has more info about that part.

Hope I could help you.

Merry christmas!

Hi Massa!

The two Victorinox knives are EcoLine models which are normally a little bit cheaper than the regular models. Before 1994 EcoLine knives had red Cellidor scales with a hot-stamped triangular shield logo. They lacked the toothpick and tweezers. Today's EcoLine models have matt finished nylon scales, a hot-stamped Victorinox logo, toothpick and tweezers.

Best regards,
Thomas

Thank you all for you help.

A spanish gentleman was able to identify them being ' Elinox ' which, has you say, was the economy line from victorinox.

They are from the 1970's

I really have no idea what they are worth but I'm going to try to sell them both in the spanish forum, with some luck maybe a collector wants them for 20 euros
