Hier eine traurige Meldung, die ich gerade im CPF gelesen habe:
Arc Flashlight is going out of business. I am sorry.
- The business failed due to my poor management of it.
- People who are currently waiting for warranty service will be offered a refund if possible.
- Paypals sent for unfilled orders will be refunded.
- Back orders will be canceled.
- Credit card information will be deleted.
- We no longer have our parts, returned items, etc. All this was seized and is lost. We only managed to save some data. If you sent a light in for service, the best we can do at this point is refund your money until it runs out.
- The arcflashlight.com website will be changed to indicate the business is gone. After a week or so, it will then be pulled. This will affect the many images we posted here in the Arc forums.
- Banners will be pulled.
- Our phone numbers no longer work.
- Our shipping address no longer works.
- The business email account will stop working in less than a month.
- We are filing chapter 7
- The rev3 upgrade for the Arc4 never made into production. The beta testers may keep the prototypes in their possesion. We have the source code but without the special hardware, we cannot service Arc4s in the field.
- If you have a problem with an Arc, we can try to help you over the next week although there is little we can do since we lost our tools, spare parts, shipping abilities, etc.
- We will try to make available online the FAQ, DYI maintenance and other help files.
- I may open source what technical data we have left on the product so the CPF community may be able to provide service for the over 20,000 Arcs in collectors hands across the world.
- Our employees and us are looking for work.
Again, my apologies. It is difficult to honor our lifetime warranty when the company doesn't exist.
