Messer und Meer – zeigt Eure Exemplare her

Right now: The one from post #177 - not on that picture. But the one that I have carried and used the most so far is my oldest, the Otter Small Anchor with Blackwood scales, down at 6 o'clock on the Foto.

Ola from Galapagos, Espanola Island.

This is a Schrade Uncle Henry USA LB5 Smokey, the same age as me. Quite a shabby but still strong Yankee. It travels with me often.

The skull belongs to a sea lion female. And I didn't kill her ;)

Hey there,
This is a mail barrel that the famous doctor Friedrich Ritter used to communicate with the outside world when he lived on the Galapagos island of Floreana with his wife (a former patient). I just recently watched the movie "Eden" based on a true story
about him with Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Sydney Sweeney and Vanessa Kirby. This is a survival thriller.
A primitive stag from Robert Klaas is posing in front of the barrel. Just master blade and bottle opener. But I like it
