Extrema Ratio - T-Razor Extrema Ratio introduces the new High Speed Razor Opening system. Extrema Ratio confirms its inexorable tendency to innovation and to the strong characterization of its products. THE T-RAZOR model is the forefather of a new family of folding knives with a new High Speed Razor Opening System. Thanks to this very practical opening method the knife can be used with the same effectiveness as a pin system but with a completely clean blade line, which can be used up to the handle. The swelling on the blade can be used to open the knife but also as blunt point or to apply pressure. Good knife designers always seem to cultivate a distinctive “look” that makes their knives immediately recognizable and unmistakably theirs. The best designers go a step further by combining those signature aesthetics with tangible performance benefits that achieve a superior synthesis of form and function. From his earliest designs, Spyderco’s Eric Glesser has shown a talent for that “higher level” of functional aesthetics. His unorthodox Dodo™ and Scorpius™ designs quickly went from questioning convention to attracting a near-cult following among performance-oriented knife users. Now the rebellious spirit of those early designs is back with Glesser’s all-new Q Ball folding knife. The Q Ball is a highly functional, all-purpose...
Designed by Belarusian custom knifemaker Dmitry Sinkevich, the new Kershaw Pub looks like nothing you’ve ever seen. Closed, you’d never know there was a handy blade inside—although you would definitely see the equally handy bottle opener. If you were exceptionally sharp-eyed, you might notice the slotted screwdriver tip right next to the bottle opener. To reveal the blade, just push down on what looks like the key ring attachment. You’ll see the blade move out of the compact handle. Keep pushing and the blade will swing all the way out, ready for use. The blade is a modified sheepsfoot with a straight edge and clipped rather than rounded tip. Strong detent keeps the blade safely inside the handle of this friction folder when...

With a long 3.75-inch clip-point blade of CPM 154, the Launch 7 offers a long, lean profile. The steel is the powdered metallurgy version of the popular 154 CM knife steel. This version offers improved toughness, grindability, and polishability as well as providing excellent corrosion resistance and edge retention. The handle is highly sculpted for an attention-grabbing look. Machined contours on both handle top and bottom give the Launch 7 its modern, industrial aesthetic as well as ensuring a solid grip. The backspacer is fully integrated into the handle, adding to the Launch 7’s solid...
