Good evening, colleagues. I have quite a lot of French knives, but I decided to post them little by little once a week to warm up interest in the topic. Today I am posting two legendary primitive knives from the Cognet company. The Montpellier knife is a close relative of the Capucine. The model already existed in the 18th century and was very popular with sailors in the south of France. I think that there is no point in commenting on the Douk-Douk.

Very elegant knife, Mathias. The colors and materials are well chosen. I like this manufacturer. As for me, it is in the top three Laguiol manufacturers.

Good evening, colleagues.
Today I present to you a rather interesting modern knife model Thiers by Claude Dozorme. The scales are made of Crystalium and inside each knife there is a jay feather. Claude Dozorme has his own unique style. He makes old regional models in a modern design and materials. Pay attention to the manual lock. This is their own patented development. Enjoy.

Shalom Arie,
as a moderator I‘ve enlarged your pictures- that looks much more nicer.
You can do that by yourself.

Shalom!
Thank you, Sir. Sorry, I haven't figured this out completely yet. I'll take note of this 👌

Hey, there!
Today I’m happy to present you another one of my Lag knives from Forge de Laguiole. This model has a corkscrew and dark horn tip scales. And of course the signature amazing click when opening the blade. Only Forge de Laguiole knives have such a click. I consider it one of the best Laguiole manufacturers. Do not take this as advertising, I do not earn money from this 😉
